Part time Personal Assistant

Job purpose:
A part time Personal Assistant is required to join a friendly team, to assist with the day-to-day activities enabling the employer, a professional lady wheelchair user to maintain an independent and fulfilling life that meets their chosen lifestyle.
Work Duties will include:
Helping with
o Personal Care
o Domestic tasks e.g. laundry, housework and meal preparation.
o Shopping
o Outdoor walking/exercise
o Taking me to appointments
o Assisting with leisure activities

Supporting
• With mobility, ensuring the employers safety
• Moving and Handling

Undertaking activities for employer
• Ensuring employers home is hygienic and safe

Other requirements
• Working in a safe way and highlighting health and safety concerns
• Assisting with management of employer’s health risks
• Establish and maintain effective communication
• Maintaining confidentiality
• Supporting with Catheter care

Location
• Within the employer’s home and surrounding area of Halesowen
• B63 4QD.

Hours and rate of pay £12.71per hour.
• 9 hours over one weekend. Every third weekend plus cover.
• Additional optional flexible hours available
• Paid annual leave
• Optional Pension enrolment

Requirements for applicant
• Experience of providing care
• Driver Required
• Good sense of humour
• Patience
• Ability to understand and deliver the needs of the employer
• Ability to undertake domestic activities
• Flexible, reliable and honest
• Good general fitness
• An enhanced DBS check will be required
