Job Description

Personal assistant required for a lady in Gatley, SK8 area – female only, ideally aged between 30 and 50.

Personal assistant will require a DBS check prior to starting. Driver with own transport is essential. English speaking only.

Hours and rate of pay

Monday and Wednesday afternoons; some flexibility will be required to cover emergencies and the other personal assistant’s holidays.

£13.72 per hour (open to negotiation).

Main Duties

• Personal Care – Showering, dressing and changing of stoma bag
• Taking the client out into the community – Cinema, library, gym, swimming etc.
• Going to any health appointments will be added benefits to us.

Personal Assistant Specification

Personal assistant must be honest, trustworthy, and reliable.

My personal assistant must respect my privacy and always maintain my dignity.

My personal assistant must be enthusiastic and flexible with a caring disposition.

You must be able to work well independently and be creative.

My personal assistant should always ask what my needs are and listen to my directions and requests.

Training of changing of stoma bag can be provided if required.

Flexibility of hours are appreciated (potential weekend work).

Hourly rate open to negotiation.

The post is subject to an enhanced DBS disclosure which will be funded through your employer.
