PCV Shunter - Bridport

BUS SHUNTER / YARD OPERATIVE - BRIDPORT

We are looking for a reliable Bus Shunter / Yard Operative to join our team in Bridport.

This is a slow-paced, independent role where you will be trusted to manage your own workload and take pride in keeping our fleet organised, clean, and ready for service.

Requirements

Valid PCV Licence (essential)
Reliable and safety-conscious
Able to work independently
Good attention to detail

Main Duties

Shunting and moving buses around the depot and yard
Cleaning and preparing vehicles
Carrying out routine vehicle checks
Assisting with the upkeep and presentation of a fleet of approximately 10 buses
Supporting basic fleet maintenance activities
Ensuring vehicles are parked, fuelled, and ready as required
Keeping the yard tidy and organised
