We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Vehicle Technician to join a busy workshop in Rainham, Essex. This is a compelling opportunity for a skilled automotive Vehicle Technician seeking to advance their career within a professional and supportive environment. The successful individual will demonstrate strong diagnostic capabilities and versatility across a range of vehicle maintenance tasks.
Benefits:
Competitive basic salary of £34,000 per annum, negotiable depending on experience
Overtime paid for hours worked over 40 hours per week
Working week from Monday to Saturday, with a weekday off
Potential to earn additional overtime income

Opportunity to work in a reputable, customer-focused workshopDuties of a Vehicle Technician:
Conduct diagnostics, repairs, and vehicle servicing to manufacturer standards
Lead and supervise workshop technicians, ensuring efficient work allocation
Manage workloads to ensure timely completion of jobs
Maintain accurate workshop documentation and service records
Assist in developing workshop procedures and continual improvement initiatives
Ensure all work complies with legal and safety standards
Communicate effectively with customers and team membersRequirements:
Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician within the motor trade
Strong diagnostic skills with the ability to work on a broad range of vehicle types
Leadership abilities to supervise and support workshop team members
Full valid UK driving licence
Ability to prioritise tasks and work under pressure
High standards of workmanship and attention to detail
