Our client, a reputable dealership in New Southgate, London, is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their busy service department. This is an excellent opportunity for skilled technicians to develop their careers within a professional and supportive environment. The Vehicle Technician role offers competitive salary packages, excellent working conditions, and opportunities for progression.
Benefits:
Basic salary up to £35,000 per annum plus performance-based bonus
OTE (On-Target Earnings) of £60,000+ for master technicians
Monday to Friday working hours from 8am to 6pm
One-in-four Saturday rota, 8am to 3pm
Supportive team environment with ongoing training and professional development
Modern, well-equipped workshop facilities
Opportunities for career advancement and skill developmentDuties:
Conduct vehicle repairs and diagnostics accurately and efficiently
Perform routine servicing and identify necessary repairs
Utilise the latest diagnostic tools and equipment for fault finding
Liaise with customers regarding vehicle issues and repair progress
Maintain high standards of work quality and ensure workshop safety compliance
Adhere to manufacturer specifications and work to deadlinesRequirements:
Relevant Level 3 qualification or equivalent as a Vehicle Technician
Proven experience working within a dealership or independent garage
Good understanding of current vehicle technology and diagnostics
Strong attention to detail with excellent communication skills
Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
