Location: Slough
Contract Type: Permanent
Working Pattern: Full-Time

We are currently seeking a highly organised and detail-focused Stock Controller to join our client's growing team. This role is pivotal in ensuring efficient inventory management and logistics operations, supporting both customer requirements and business objectives within a regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities

Order Management

Pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch in line with company procedures
Generate accurate delivery documentation using the ERP system, ensuring correct material codes, batch numbers, and serial numbers

Goods Receiving

Receive and unpack incoming shipments, checking product condition and regulatory compliance
Verify deliveries against packing lists and liaise with suppliers to resolve any discrepancies

Stock Control & Maintenance

Identify and quarantine non-conforming materials to maintain product quality and safety standards
Accurately record goods received and manage stock transfers within the ERP system

Inventory Management

Carry out routine stock counts and reconcile physical inventory with system records
Monitor stock levels and escalate discrepancies or risks to the relevant team leader

Customer & Operational Support

Assist in resolving delivery and stock-related customer queries
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
Support internal communication and respond to departmental queries

General Duties

Move stock internally as required to support operations
Contribute to continuous improvement by providing feedback on processes and documentation

About You

Previous experience in inventory control, warehousing, or logistics is desirable
Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively under pressure
Proactive, solution-focused approach with strong teamwork skills
Familar with SAP and Salesforce
