We’re looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our expanding commercial team, supporting a portfolio of social housing refurbishment and new‑build projects across London. You’ll take ownership of cost control, contract administration, and commercial reporting, ensuring projects are delivered profitably and in line with client expectations.
Key Responsibilities
* Cost Management — Prepare, manage, and monitor project budgets from pre‑construction through final account.
* Valuations & Payments — Produce accurate monthly valuations and manage subcontractor payments.
* Contract Administration — Administer JCT contracts, variations, and change control processes.
* Procurement — Lead procurement of subcontract packages, negotiate terms, and manage supply chain relationships.
* Reporting — Provide clear, timely commercial reports to senior management and clients.
What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within construction, refurbishment, or social housing.
* Strong working knowledge of JCT contracts, cost reporting, and commercial processes.
* Confident communicator able to work closely with project teams, clients, and subcontractors.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to challenge costs and drive value.
* Proficiency with digital measurement and cost‑management tools.
