Position 1 Recruitment are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join our client’s team. You’ll take ownership of cost control, financial planning, and commercial management across a range of specialist fabrication and installation projects.
This is a fast-paced environment with a varied project portfolio, well suited to someone who enjoys diverse challenges and delivering consistent results.

Key Responsibilities
* Manage cost control, budgeting & financial forecasting
* Support and advise on commercial strategy & project delivery
* Review commercial plans to maximise profit margins
* Oversee monthly commercial audits
* Manage subcontractor processes & compliance
* Produce cost-to-complete forecasts, valuations & cash flow reporting
* Prepare and submit Applications for Payment (AFP) on time
* Issue supplier & subcontractor payment certifications
* Handle variations, change control & cost reporting
* Ensure full compliance with company commercial procedures
* Deliver final accounts to maximise project margin
You will have:
* Experience as a Quantity Surveyor
* Knowledge of cost management, contracts & procurement
* Knowledge of JCT Contracts (Traditional & Design & Build) & NEC Contracts
