Ridgeway & Co are recruiting on behalf of a growing Main Contractor seeking a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team in Norwich.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established business with a strong pipeline of work across East Anglia, delivering projects within the commercial, education, healthcare, residential and public sectors.

Key Responsibilities

*

Managing project costs, budgets and commercial performance

*

Procurement and management of subcontractors

*

Preparation and agreement of variations

*

Cost reporting, forecasting and cash flow management

*

Valuations and payment applications

*

Final accounts preparation and negotiation

*

Commercial risk management

*

Working closely with operational and project delivery teams

*

Ensuring projects are delivered within budget and contractual requirements

Requirements

*

Experience working as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction industry

*

Main contractor experience preferred

*

Strong commercial and contractual knowledge

*

Ability to manage projects independently

*

Excellent communication and negotiation skills

*

Degree qualified or equivalent industry experience
