We are looking for an experienced Databricks Platfrom Expert to support a client as they transition from Proof of Concept (PoC) into full-scale implementation and enterprise adoption. This is a hands-on role requiring both technical expertise and the ability to guide stakeholders on best practice platform adoption.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, and implementation of the Databricks platform
• Support the transition from PoC into production environments
• Define scalable data and analytics architectures
• Establish best practices for governance, security, performance, and cost optimisation
• Work closely with business and technical stakeholders to drive platform adoption
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to internal teams
• Support integration with wider cloud and data ecosystems

Key Skills & Experience

• Strong commercial experience with Databricks
• Experience leading Databricks implementations beyond PoC stage
• Deep understanding of modern data platforms, data engineering, and analytics
• Experience with Azure Databricks, AWS Databricks, or Databricks on GCP
• Strong knowledge of data architecture, governance, and platform optimisation
• Ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Experience developing adoption strategies and operating models is highly desirable

• Databricks certifications
• Experience within regulated environments
• Knowledge of AI, Machine Learning, and advanced analytics workloads
