About the Role Due to continued growth within our Pumping Stations division, we are looking to recruit a Technical Design Engineer to join our team based in Woore.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong AutoCAD skills and a solid understanding of engineering principles who is looking to develop their career within a specialist engineering environment.

Working closely with internal teams and site engineers, you will be responsible for producing technical drawings, interpreting specifications and providing technical support throughout the design process.

Full product training will be provided, making this an ideal opportunity for candidates with a mechanical or engineering background who are looking to further develop their technical expertise.

Key Responsibilities
Produce accurate 2D AutoCAD drawings and design documentation
Interpret customer specifications and technical requirements
Provide technical support to site engineers and internal departments
Respond to technical design queries and offer practical solutions
Assist with the development and improvement of product designs
Ensure drawings comply with relevant specifications and standards
Work collaboratively with engineering, production and project teams
Maintain accurate design records and documentation What We're Looking ForEssential
Proficiency in 2D AutoCAD
Strong understanding of mechanical and engineering principles
Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
Excellent attention to detail
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to build confidence in designs and communicate technical information effectively Desirable
Experience within a design engineering or technical drawing environment
Knowledge of pumping stations, water infrastructure or related industries
Understanding of local water authority specifications
Familiarity with Design & Construction Guidance (DCG) What's On Offer?
£27,000 - £31,000 salary depending on experience and qualifications
