Reeson Education is expanding its Outreach Team and is looking for qualified teachers and tutors to support a growing number of referrals from Local Authorities in and around London.
We provide bespoke 1:1 education packages for children and young people who require additional support outside of a traditional school setting. As demand continues to grow, we are looking to build our network of dedicated professionals who are passionate about helping learners achieve positive outcomes.
Our learners come from a wide range of backgrounds and may include:
Children and young people with SEND, including Autism and ADHD
Learners accessing EOTAS provision
Children Looked After (LAC)
Students experiencing anxiety, EBSA or barriers to school attendance
Learners awaiting specialist school placements
Young people requiring additional academic or pastoral support
What Does the Role Involve?
Delivering tailored 1:1 tuition at either primary or secondary level
Planning engaging sessions that meet the individual needs of each learner
Supporting educational progress, confidence and engagement
Working closely with families, schools, Local Authorities and the Outreach Team
Providing regular feedback on attendance, progress and outcomesTuition may take place virtually, within the family home, or in a suitable community setting, depending on the needs of the learner and the requirements of the placement.
What Are We Looking For?
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching at primary and/or secondary level
A flexible and child-centred approach
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (preferred)
Previous SEND experience is desirable but not essential
