Reeson Education is looking to expand its network of qualified tutors to support a growing number of outreach tuition placements across London, with immediate and September starts available.
We are seeking passionate and adaptable teachers who are looking to make a real difference to the lives of children and young people who require alternative educational provision.
Tuition may be delivered online, within the family home, or in local community settings, depending on the needs of the learner.
Learners may include:
* Children and young people with SEND, including Autism and ADHD
* Learners receiving EOTAS provision
* Children Looked After (LAC)
* Learners experiencing barriers to accessing mainstream education
* Students requiring additional academic or pastoral support
The Role
* Deliver tailored 1:1 tuition sessions
* Adapt learning to meet individual needs and abilities
* Build positive relationships with learners and families
* Provide session feedback and progress updates
* Work closely with Local Authorities, schools and the Reeson Outreach Team
Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (preferred)
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills
* A flexible and child-centred approach
* Previous experience supporting learners with SEND is desirable but not essential
