The Opportunity
A welcoming and forward-thinking primary school in Partington is looking to appoint a talented Year 6 Teacher for a full-time role starting in September 2026. This is an excellent opportunity to guide pupils through their final year of primary school and play a key role in preparing them for secondary education.

Your Role in the Classroom
You’ll take ownership of a Year 6 class, delivering engaging lessons while supporting both academic progress and personal development. Working closely with colleagues, you’ll help ensure every child reaches their full potential.
You will:
Deliver creative, high-quality lessons aligned with the Year 6 curriculum
Track and assess pupil progress effectively
Maintain a positive, inclusive, and focused learning environment
Work collaboratively with staff and leadership
Continuously develop your teaching practice
What We’re Looking For
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience within Key Stage 2 (Year 6 preferred)
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
Ability to adapt teaching to different learning needs
Solid knowledge of the National Curriculum
Confident communicator and team player
Comfortable using technology to support learning
Motivated, reflective, and committed to high standards
