Join Our Team

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, committed and highly motivated Year 6 Class Teacher to join our friendly and supportive primary school in Prestwich for a one-year fixed-term contract.

This is an exciting opportunity for an excellent classroom practitioner who is passionate about helping children achieve their full potential during an important stage of their primary education. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing pupils for their transition to secondary school while ensuring a positive, engaging and nurturing learning experience.

The Successful Candidate Will:

Be a qualified teacher with QTS.
Have experience of, or a strong understanding of, Upper Key Stage Two.
Demonstrate high expectations of achievement, behaviour and attendance.
Deliver engaging and creative lessons that inspire a love of learning.
Be committed to raising standards and accelerating pupil progress.
Possess excellent communication and organisational skills.
Work effectively as part of a dedicated and collaborative team.
Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues.
