SEMH Teaching Assistant - Behaviour & Emotional Support**

Aspire People are recruiting a resilient and compassionate **SEMH Teaching Assistant** to support pupils who require additional emotional, social, and behavioural support.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building strong relationships with children and helping them overcome barriers that may affect their learning.
The school is looking for someone who can provide consistency, encouragement, and positive support throughout the school day.
**Responsibilities Include:**
* Supporting pupils with SEMH needs within the classroom
* Encouraging positive behaviour and emotional regulation
* Helping pupils engage with learning and routines
* Supporting intervention activities and targeted support
* Building trusting relationships with pupils
* Working alongside teachers and pastoral staff
**The Successful Candidate Will:**
* Have experience supporting children or young people
* Be calm and confident when managing challenging situations
* Have strong relationship-building skills
* Be patient, consistent, and understanding
* Be passionate about supporting vulnerable learners
