Conrad Consulting is proud to be working with a leading independent property and construction consultancy as they look to appoint an ambitious Senior Building Surveyor to join their growing team in Central London.
This is an excellent opportunity for an MRICS-qualified Building Surveyor with around 2+ years of post-qualification experience who is seeking exposure to a diverse portfolio of projects across both the public and private sectors. You'll be joining a collaborative team delivering a mix of professional and project-led services for prestigious clients throughout London and the UK.
The Role
As a Senior Building Surveyor, you will manage a varied workload encompassing both project and professional services, including:
Contract Administration and Project Management
Condition Surveys and Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) inspections
Pre-acquisition surveys and Due Diligence
Dilapidations and Schedules of Condition
Preparation of specifications and tender documentation using NBS
Procurement advice and tender analysis
Monitoring construction quality and site inspections
Chairing project meetings and liaising with clients, contractors and consultants
Delivering cost advice and technical reports
Supporting and mentoring junior surveyors
About You
We are keen to speak with Chartered Building Surveyors who possess:
MRICS qualification
Minimum 2 years' post-qualification experience
Strong Contract Administration and Project Management skills
Experience undertaking condition surveys, PPMs, due diligence and dilapidations
Sound understanding of construction technology and building pathology
Knowledge of Building Regulations and Health & Safety legislation
Ability to build strong client relationships and manage multiple projects effectively
Experience with CAD and specification writing would be advantageous
