A leading property and construction consultancy are now seeking an experienced Senior Building Surveyor to join their growing Building Safety team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Building Surveyor with experience in fire safety, remediation and compliance to work across a varied portfolio of commercial and residential properties. The Building Surveyor will deliver specialist Building Surveying services, advise clients on complex Building Safety matters and support the successful delivery of remediation projects. The successful Building Surveyor will be based in Manchester and will join an established Building Surveying team with a strong pipeline of work.

The Role
As the Senior Building Surveyor, you will play a key role in delivering professional Building Safety and Building Surveying services across a varied property portfolio.
The role will include:
* Managing fire door and fire compartmentation remediation schemes
* Providing technical advice to clients on fire safety and Building Safety matters
* Producing and contributing to Building Safety Case Reports
* Liaising with Principal Accountable Persons and regulatory bodies
* Managing external consultants and contractors throughout project delivery
* Reviewing technical reports and advising on remediation strategies
* Supporting Gateway 2 applications and Building Safety submissions
The Senior Building Surveyor?
You will be an experienced Building Surveyor with a strong understanding of Building Safety legislation, fire safety compliance and remediation projects. Applications from candidates without relevant Building Surveying experience will not be considered.
The Senior Building Surveyor must have:
* Degree qualified in Building Surveying or a related property discipline
* MRICS or FRICS preferred
* Experience delivering Building Safety and remediation projects
* Strong understanding of Building Safety legislation and regulatory requirements
* Experience working on Higher-Risk Buildings and Building Safety Cases
* Experience supporting Gateway 2 applications
* Previous fire safety experience within commercial and/or residential property
