My client is a well-known food manufacturer seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join a busy manufacturing site.
This is a hands-on maintenance role, working as part of an experienced engineering team to keep production machinery running efficiently. This will involve both planned and reactive maintenance across a range of mechanical equipment.
The successful candidate will be mechanically biased and have experience working in an industrial, manufacturing or production environment.
Food manufacturing experience would be beneficial, but engineers from other industrial backgrounds will also be considered.
The Role
Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance
Fault finding and repairing mechanical issues
Working on production and packing machinery
Supporting site reliability and reducing downtime
Working as part of a shift engineering team
Requirements
Mechanical maintenance experience
Industrial or manufacturing background
Strong mechanical fault-finding skills
Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment
Food industry experience beneficial but not essential
