Child in Need Reviewing Officer

We are recruiting for an experienced Child in Need Reviewing Officer to join a busy Safeguarding Service in Lambeth.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Social Worker with strong safeguarding experience to provide independent oversight of Child in Need (CIN) plans, ensuring interventions remain child-focused, outcome-driven, and achieve positive outcomes for children and families.
Key Responsibilities:
* Chair and facilitate Child in Need review meetings.
* Monitor and review CIN plans, challenging drift and delay.
* Ensure children's voices, wishes, and lived experiences are central to planning.
* Provide independent scrutiny of assessments and safeguarding interventions.
* Work closely with social workers, managers, and partner agencies to improve outcomes.
Requirements:
* Social Work qualification and Social Work England registration.
* Significant experience within Children's Social Care and safeguarding services.
* Experience chairing professional meetings and working across multi-agency partnerships.
* Strong analytical, decision-making, and report-writing skills.
* Ability to provide effective challenge and quality assurance oversight.
