Assistant Site Manager - New Build Housing
Location: Hertfordshire
Salary: Up to £50,000 + £5,000 Car Allowance + Package
Are you an Assistant Site Manager looking to move away from the major PLC housebuilders and join a privately owned developer with an excellent reputation for quality and staff retention?
We are currently recruiting for a well-established privately owned housebuilder with a strong pipeline of work who are looking to appoint an Assistant Site Manager on a new traditional build development in Hertfordshire consisting of 60 homes.
The Role
Working alongside the Site Manager, you will support the delivery of a traditional build housing development comprising a mix of 3, 4 and 5-bedroom homes, ensuring properties are built safely, on programme and to the highest quality standards.
Your responsibilities will include:
Supporting the day-to-day management of the development
Supervising subcontractors and coordinating trades on site
Ensuring health and safety standards are maintained at all times
Monitoring build quality and carrying out regular inspections
Assisting with programme management and site progress
Managing materials, deliveries and site logistics
Carrying out snagging and quality control inspections
Supporting NHBC inspections and customer handovers
Requirements
Previous experience as an Assistant Site Manager within new build housing
Experience working for a residential developer or housebuilder
Good knowledge of construction processes and site coordination
Strong communication and organisational skills
SMSTS or SSSTS, CSCS and First Aid preferred
