QA Automation Engineer

Quality Engineer | Playwright | API Testing | TypeScript | Hybrid

We are recruiting for an experienced Quality Engineer to join a high-profile technology programme focused on delivering secure, scalable and reliable API-driven platforms.

This role is ideal for a QA Automation Engineer, SDET or Test Automation Engineer with strong API testing and modern test automation experience.

Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop and maintain automated test frameworks using Playwright, TypeScript and JavaScript
• Deliver API testing, integration testing, regression testing and end-to-end testing
• Validate REST APIs, OpenAPI specifications and API gateway configurations
• Perform security testing, authentication and authorisation validation
• Execute performance and load testing to ensure scalability and resilience
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and DevOps environments
• Support shift-left testing, defect prevention and root cause analysis

Required Skills:
• Quality Engineering, QA Automation or SDET background
• Strong Playwright experience
• TypeScript and/or JavaScript
• API Testing, REST APIs and automation frameworks
• Cucumber or BDD testing
• CI/CD pipeline integration
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
