Highway quantity surveyor (Part time)

Our client, operating in the highways sector, is currently seeking a part-time Highway Quantity Surveyor for a contract role in Buckinghamshire. This position is ideal for an experienced QS looking to balance work and personal life or for those wanting to continue contributing their expertise on a flexible schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

Commercial management of highway maintenance and improvement schemes
Cost forecasting, valuations, and change management
Contract administration and commercial reporting
Providing commercial advice and risk management support to project teams
Liaising with clients, contractors, and key stakeholders

Job Requirements:

Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within highways or civil engineering
Strong understanding of NEC contracts
Ability to work independently and provide commercial leadership
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
