Site-Based Ecological Clerk of Works (ECoW) – HS2, Aylesbury
I am currently recruiting for an experienced site-based Ecological Clerk of Works (ECoW) to join the HS2 project in Aylesbury. This is an initial contract opportunity, with work expected to continue through to at least the end of the year. The client is able to accommodate an immediate start or wait for the successful candidate to serve their notice period.
The role will involve overseeing vegetation clearance activities and carrying out bird and nesting checks, ensuring ecological compliance is maintained on one of the UK's largest infrastructure projects. You will work closely with site teams and contractors to ensure works are undertaken in accordance with environmental requirements and best practice.
Ideally, candidates will have a minimum of two seasons' experience, hold the relevant protected species licence(s), and possess a valid CSCS card. Previous experience working on major infrastructure projects, particularly HS2, would be highly advantageous
