We are seeking a dedicated and resilient SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school setting in the Redbourn area (Redbourn). This is a rewarding opportunity to work closely with pupils who have additional needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and ADHD, with some learners presenting verbal communication needs.
The Role:
You will support pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis, helping them access learning, regulate emotions, and engage positively in the classroom environment. You'll work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement structured support strategies and personalised learning approaches.
We are looking for someone who:
Has SEN experience (desirable but not essential)
Has a genuine passion and strong commitment to working with children
Can demonstrate relevant experience or interest through CV, volunteering, or transferable skills
Psychology graduates are warmly welcomed to apply
Is patient, resilient, and able to build positive relationships with pupils
Can support children with ASD, ADHD, and communication needs effectively
