Key Stage 3 Drama / Performing Arts Teacher
Maternity Cover | 4 Days per Week | Start ASAP
We are seeking an enthusiastic and creative Key Stage 3 Drama / Performing Arts Teacher to join our team on a maternity cover basis, starting as soon as possible.
The Role
· Teaching Drama/Performing Arts across Key Stage 3
· Delivering engaging, practical, and inclusive lessons that inspire creativity and confidence
· Planning, preparing, and assessing in line with the national curriculum
· Supporting students of varying abilities to develop performance skills, collaboration, and self-expression
· Contributing to the wider school community, including performances or enrichment activities where appropriate
Contract Details
· Start: ASAP
· Duration: Maternity cover (fixed term)
· Working Pattern: 4 days per week
The Ideal Candidate
· Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (desirable but not essential depending on experience)
· Experience teaching Drama or Performing Arts at KS3 level
· Passionate about the arts and committed to delivering high-quality teaching
· Strong classroom management and communication skills
· A team player with a positive and flexible attitude
