### About the Role
We are recruiting Complex Carers in Devon to provide high-quality, person-centred support to individuals with complex care needs. You will deliver safe and effective care in line with care plans, training, and agreed clinical procedures.
### Key Responsibilities
Provide hands-on care and support in line with individual care plans and risk assessments
Assist with personal care, mobility support, and daily living activities
Support clinical care needs including:
- Spinal injury
- Brain injury
- Tracheostomy
- Bowel management
- Cough assist
- Seizure management
- Ventilation
- Oxygen therapy
- Suctioning
Monitor and respond appropriately to changes in condition, escalating concerns promptly
Maintain accurate documentation and communication with family/clinical teams where required
Follow infection prevention and control procedures at all times
Work in a consistent, respectful, and calm manner, promoting dignity, independence, and choice
### Essential Requirements
Minimum 12 months’ UK care experience
Experience supporting individuals with complex care needs, including one or more of the following:
- spinal injury, brain injury, tracheostomy, bowel management, cough assist, seizures, ventilation, oxygen therapy, suctioning
Ability to work shifts (including evenings/weekends where required)
Right to work in the UK — no sponsorship available
### Desirable
Relevant training/experience with tracheostomy/ventilation and suctioning
Experience working with individuals who have neurological conditions, including brain injury and seizure risk
Care experience in domiciliary, supported living, or complex care settings
