Our client is recruiting for a Car Sales Manager to lead a newly expanded new and used car sales operation at their franchise-approved dealership in Gloucester. This is a hands-on, leader-from-the-front position, working alongside the sales team in a busy showroom environment, reporting to the Group Sales Director.

Lead, motivate and develop the New/Used Car Sales Manager team to achieve and exceed targets
Drive new vehicle sales while supporting a used car stock of 30–40 vehicles
Deliver exceptional customer experience and maintain high customer satisfaction standards
Manage the sales process from enquiry to delivery, improving conversion rates
Monitor stock levels, vehicle preparation and merchandising standards
Drive strong F&I performance, profitability and finance outcomes
Recruit, coach and develop team members to maximise performance
Identify local sales opportunities and build relationships within the community
Produce accurate reporting and ensure compliance with manufacturer and company standards
Work visibly on the showroom floor as a hands-on New/Used Car Sales ManagerRequirements of the Car Sales Manager:

Previous experience in a car sales management role within a franchise-approved dealership is desirable, but not essential
Consideration available for Business Managers/Sales Controllers or very experienced Car Sales Executives with strong F&I performance seeking the next step
Must be self-driven, adaptable, and able to lead by example
UK driving licence with minimal points
