The Role

As an Automotive Electrician, you will play a key role in the assembly and installation of bespoke electrical systems on specialist vehicles and equipment.

Working within a fast-paced production environment, you'll be responsible for ensuring all electrical installations meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and performance while supporting production targets and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Install and modify customised vehicle-mounted electrical harnesses and control systems
Interpret and work from electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
Diagnose and resolve electrical faults efficiently
Support the build and commissioning of specialist vehicle systems
Ensure all work is completed to a high standard of quality and accuracy
Complete relevant production and quality documentation
Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet production deadlines
Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment
Follow all company policies and health and safety procedures
Support additional production activities as required

What We're Looking For

Essential Skills & Experience

Previous experience wiring vehicles to a high standard
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
Good communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to work independently and use your own initiative
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Flexible and adaptable approach to workload requirements

Desirable

Experience working with machine controls
Experience within automotive, commercial vehicle, specialist vehicle, or manufacturing environments
