Why Greencore?

Following the combination with Bakkavor in January 2026, we're one of the UK's leading creators of convenience food, driven by a simple purpose: to make every day taste better.

As a vibrant and fast-moving business, we're proud to employ over 28,000 talented colleagues across 36 manufacturing sites and 21 distribution depots in the UK and the US. Together, we bring delicious food to life. Our products cover every meal occasion from breakfast through to dinner and dessert, with lunch and snacking in between. In FY25, our shared passion helped us achieve combined revenues of approximately £4bn.

Our extensive direct-to-store (DTS) network, with 17 depots across the UK, allows us to deliver fresh and frozen food - both our own and from trusted partners - to thousands of stores every day, ensuring consumers enjoy the very best, whenever and wherever they shop.

What You'll Be Doing

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Commercial team in a role that offers broad exposure across customers, products, performance analysis and business strategy.

As a Commercial Executive, you'll support the delivery of key commercial initiatives, helping to drive performance across our product portfolio while working closely with teams across Sales, Marketing, Finance, Category, Supply Chain and Operations. You'll gain valuable insight into how a major FMCG business operates and play a key role in supporting decision-making through data, analysis and stakeholder collaboration.

Key responsibilities include:

Supporting the management and reporting of commercial plans, ensuring key activities and projects remain on track
Analysing sales, performance and market data to identify trends, opportunities and areas for improvement
Producing reports, presentations and insights to support commercial decision-making
Coordinating cross-functional meetings and ensuring actions are tracked and delivered
Supporting product launches and commercial projects from planning through to execution
Monitoring portfolio performance and helping identify opportunities to improve sales, profitability and customer outcomes
Working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment on priorities, timelines and objectives
Assisting with forecasting, budgeting and performance review processes
Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance commercial effectiveness and business performanceWhat We're Looking For

We're looking for an ambitious, commercially minded individual who is eager to develop their career within a fast-paced and successful FMCG business.
This role would suit a recent graduate with a Business, Economics, Marketing, Finance or related degree, or someone with early commercial experience looking to take the next step in their career.

You'll ideally have:

Strong commercial awareness and a genuine interest in understanding how businesses drive growth and profitability
Excellent numerical and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and turn it into meaningful insights
Strong problem-solving skills and a naturally curious mindset
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
High levels of organisation and attention to detail
Confidence working with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and data-driven reports
The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
A proactive approach and willingness to challenge, learn and continuously improvePrevious experience within FMCG, food manufacturing or a commercial environment would be advantageous but is not essential. We're more interested in individuals who can demonstrate strong commercial acumen, analytical capability and the potential to grow within our business.
Most importantly, you'll be motivated, driven and excited by the opportunity to build a successful career in a leading consumer goods organisation.

At Greencore, we put our people at the core. We celebrate their differences and help everyone to be themselves at work. Together, we make every day taste better.

If this sounds like you, join us, grow with Greencore and be part of driving our future success.
