My client a market leading Environmental and Engineering Consultancy, is searching for a Graduate Water Resources Consultant for the team near Oxford.
Candidates are required to have a strong academic background in hydrogeology, Water Resources or GIS and have a keen interest in hydrogeological risk assessments, water resource assessments, hydrology and GIS mapping.
Candidates are required to have a passion for water resources, hydrology, hydrogeology and GIS systems (and data management) and a passion for varied UK based and international project work (with occasional travel).
You will also be required to have excellent written and verbal communication skills to write reports.
As a Graduate Water Resources Consultant you will join an experienced team to complete varied hydrological, hydrogeological, groundwater, flood risk and water resources projects for infrastructure, renewable energy, development and quarries across the UK. You will be trained and supported to complete;
Hydrogeological risk assessments
Groundwater flow analysis and quantitative assessments.
Water resource assessments
Hydrological assessments
Water framework directive assessments.
Groundwater monitoring.
Data analysis of monitoring data.
Groundwater modelling using Aquator.
GIS mapping.
Climate risk and resilience assessments
Flood risk assessments and drainage design.
Quarry and mining water management and landfill assessments.
Environmental permitting applications.
International water resource projects.
Site visits, sampling and site walkovers.
