Electrical Charger Technician
Mid England - Oxford - Warwick - Nottingham - Norwich - Ipswich - Luton areas
40 hrs per week (OT might be available)

We are recruiting for an Electrical Charger Technician to join a well-established, employee-owned engineering company specialising in standby power solutions. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a business that designs and manufactures high-quality, innovative products for use across the UK and international markets.

Key responsibilities include:
• Organising and completing service and maintenance visits on industrial battery chargers
• Replacing batteries at customer sites
• Surveying sites and completing service documentation accurately and on time
• Providing technical support to customers and internal teams
• Maintaining professional relationships and representing the business on-site
• Travelling extensively within the UK (with occasional overseas travel)
What We’re Looking For
• Electrical Technician experience, ideally within a field-based or customer-site environment
• Strong commitment to health & safety standards
• Good communication and customer-facing skills
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
Qualifications / Experience
• Electrical/electronic fault finding
• Electromechanical installation experience
• Knowledge of SLA, NiCd, and Plante batteries
• Health & Safety certification and CSCS card
• Inspection & Testing (BS2391 or equivalent) - desirable
• 18th Edition- desirable
