Perfect Placement is recruiting on behalf of a prestige dealer in Blackburn for a Diagnostic Vehicle Technician role.
Diagnostic Vehicle Technician will join a high-performing aftersales team, delivering outstanding vehicle standards using advanced diagnostic tools, digital work documentation, and manufacturer-backed training.

£40,000–£48,000 OTE, based on time saved and team profit
25 days’ annual leave plus bank holidays, increasing with service

Training and accreditation to support progression, including electric and hybrid servicing exposure

Full-time role: 41.25 hours per week, including 1 in 4 Saturday AMDuties of a Diagnostic Vehicle Technician:
Carry out servicing and maintenance on a range of vehicles, including diagnostic, warranty and repair work
Complete maintenance tasks including oil services and cambelt changes, using digital write-ups and job cards
Perform electronic vehicle health checks (eVHCs) in line with company standards
Maintain safety and quality standards while working to agreed processes
Support efficient workshop performance as part of a collaborative aftersales teamRequirements of a Diagnostic Vehicle Technician:
A recognised Level 3 qualification (IMI, City and Guilds or equivalent)
Previous experience as a Diagnostic Technician or Service Technician/Mechanic, ideally with warranty and servicing exposure
Strong teamwork skills and the ability to follow process while delivering consistently high standards
An MOT Licence is an advantage; training is available if not currently qualified
A genuine willingness to learn and develop through manufacturer accreditation trainingDiagnostic Vehicle Technician is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on technician seeking structured progression within a modern workshop environment.
