Job description:
CNC Turner Setter/Operator.
We are currently seeking an experienced CNC Turner Setter/Operator to join our well established client based in Beaumont Leys.
Monday-Thursday 14:30pm-23:00pm.
Friday- 11:30am-17:00pm.
£15.52 p/h
Temp to perm!
Job Duties:
* To set CNC machines (single and/or twin spindle) for production within allocated times
* To operate machines making adjustments to the machine settings as required
* To ensure that the quality expectations, as per drawing and planning are achieved
* Ensure that allocated operation times are achieved
* Running various systems working with tight tolerances
* Working with QC on in-process inspections using various types of measuring equipment
* Working with production/design for machining capability
* Maintaining high standard of workmanship
* Undertake any adhoc programming jobs within skill experience in line with business needs.
* Observe and comply with health and safety standards without exception.
What you'll need:
* Experience in setting and operating CNC Turning lathes
* Previous experience within a machine shop environment, preferably within a manufacturing environment
* Ability to read manufacturing drawings and understanding of dimensioning and tolerances
* Ability to measure finished machined components using typical manual inspection tools
* Ability to apply cutting tool knowledge and practices to a variety of materials is advantageous
* Experience with quality requirements including ISO 9001.
