Mechanical Operatives
Job Role
Due to continued growth our client based in Papworth Everard are currently recruiting for additional mechanical operatives to join their experienced team. This will provide the right individual with the opportunity to join a busy and successful engineering company.
Responsibilities
Working within an allocated team to achieve scheduled manufacturing targets
You will be trained and developed to set and operate a range of industrial machinery
Assemble equipment working from drawings
Maintain a safe and clean workshop and adhere to safe working practices
To be able to work as a team or as an individual to reach required goals.Requirements
A practical ‘hands on’ approach with experience in a manufacturing environment
High level of attention to detail and the ability to maintain focus
Experience with use of hand tools - drill, rivet gun etc.
Understanding of engineering drawings an advantage but not essential
Good Communication skillsHours of Work and Pay
Monday to Thursday - 07.30am to 4.00pm
Friday - 07.30am to 12.30pm
£12.71 per hour
Own transport due to rural location
