EYFS Teaching Assistant - Preston
Full-Time | September Start | Competitive Rates of Pay
Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking a nurturing and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Preston from September.
This is a full-time role, working 6.5 hours per day, supporting pupils within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting children's learning, development, and well being during these important early years.
The Role:
Full-time position, Monday to Friday
September start
Supporting children within the EYFS setting
Working alongside the class teacher and wider Early Years team
Assisting with the delivery of engaging and creative learning activities
Supporting children's social, emotional, and educational development
Helping to create a safe, positive, and stimulating learning environment
The Ideal Candidate:
Holds a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable)
Has previous experience working within a school setting (desirable)
Has experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and additional learning needs
Has a good understanding of the EYFS framework
Is patient, caring, and enthusiastic about supporting young learners
Has excellent communication and teamwork skills
