About the Role

Veritas Education is working in partnership with a progressive and supportive secondary school in the Bradford area to recruit a dedicated and enthusiastic Physics Teacher for a full-time, long-term position starting in September 2026.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a strong science department and inspire students through high-quality Physics teaching, encouraging curiosity and a deeper understanding of the world around them.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver engaging Physics lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable)
Support students in developing analytical and problem-solving skills
Plan differentiated lessons to meet the needs of all learners
Assess, monitor, and report on student progress
Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management
Contribute to the wider Science department and school community

The Ideal Candidate

Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Has a specialism in Physics or a related science discipline
Experience teaching in a secondary school setting (ECTs welcome)
Demonstrates strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills
Is committed to safeguarding and promoting student success
