Physics Teacher - Maidstone Area
Start Date: September 2026
Duration: One Term initially (with potential for a permanent opportunity)
We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Physics Teacher to join a highly regarded independent school in the Maidstone area from September 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate Physics specialist to become part of a supportive and successful school community.
The position will initially be offered on a temporary one-term basis, with the possibility of becoming a permanent role for the right candidate.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and inspiring Physics lessons, helping students develop a strong understanding of the subject and achieve their academic potential. The school is looking for a teacher who can bring enthusiasm, subject knowledge and creativity to the classroom, while building positive relationships with students.
The ideal candidate will:
Be a qualified Physics Teacher (QTS or equivalent) or have strong experience teaching Physics
Have experience teaching across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 experience desirable)
Be passionate about Physics and able to inspire students through engaging lessons
Have excellent classroom management skills and a commitment to maintaining high standards
