Tradewind Recruitment is currently working with a number of secondary schools across Northampton and the surrounding areas that are looking to appoint passionate and talented Music Teachers for a variety of positions.
Whether you're available immediately or planning ahead for September 2026, we have a range of opportunities to suit your needs, including daily supply, short-term cover, long-term contracts, and permanent roles.
We are keen to hear from teachers who can inspire students through engaging and creative Music lessons while fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
The Role
Teaching Music across Key Stages 3 and 4
Planning and delivering high-quality lessons that engage learners of all abilities
Assessing, monitoring, and supporting student progress
Maintaining strong classroom management and behaviour standards
Supporting performances, enrichment activities, and wider school life where appropriate
What We're Looking For
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
Experience teaching Music within a secondary school setting
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
A passion for music education and helping students achieve their potential
Flexibility, professionalism, and a positive approach
