Our client, a well-established Architectural Practice based close to Glasgow Central Station, is actively seeking an Architectural Technologist to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an Architectural Technologist with 4+ years' experience to further develop their career within a highly respected and collaborative practice. Our client currently have around 75 staff split across multiple offices and 25 people specifically in their Glasgow office. They could support someone working from their Edinburgh office is someone is happy travelling to sites in Glasgow.

The practice works across a diverse range of sectors including Commercial, Residential, Education, Leisure, Healthcare, Industrial and large-scale Infrastructure projects. The successful Architectural Technologist will initially focus on major Data Centre developments, working predominantly across RIBA Stages 4 and 5, supporting the delivery of complex, technically demanding projects from detailed design through to construction. These projects are large scale with Construction costs of Circa £150m.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical abilities, excellent Revit skills, and experience producing detailed technical information. Key responsibilities will include preparing technical packages and detailed drawings, coordinating with consultants and contractors, attending project and site meetings, producing specifications, and supporting project delivery throughout the construction phase.

Architectural Technologist Overview

Produce detailed technical drawings and construction information using Revit
Support the delivery of projects across RIBA Stages 4 and 5
Assist in the coordination of consultants, contractors and wider project teams
Prepare technical packages, specifications and detailed construction drawings
Attend project, design team and site meetings
Carry out site visits and assist with construction-stage project delivery
Work on large-scale Data Centre projects, alongside projects across a variety of sectors
Use Revit on a daily basis

Architectural Technologist Requirements

Architectural Technologist with 4+ years' experience
Live within a commutable distance of Central Glasgow
Good knowledge of Revit - advantageous
Knowledge of NBS also advantageous
Experience producing technical information and detailed drawing packages
Experience within Commercial, Industrial, Infrastructure or large-scale projects advantageous
Good knowledge of RIBA Stages 4 and 5
Strong technical and drawings skills

Salary & Benefits

Salary: £35,000 - £42,000 DOE (Potentially more for a candidate with very strong experience
