Mobile Alloy Wheel Technician required in Newcastle
Our client is increasing its regional and national coverage and is in need of a Mobile Alloy Wheel Technician.
Benefits for the Mobile Alloy Wheel Technician:
Basic salary up to £34,000
OTE of c. £40,000
40 hours per week
Monday to Friday working between 8am and 6pm
Saturday on a rota basis
Training opportunities to broaden alloy wheel preparation and finishing skills
Long-term, established client with expanding regional and national coverageDuties of the Mobile Alloy Wheel Technician:
Prepare wheels for painting and lacquering using shrink-wrap to protect tyres on non-diamond cut wheels
Use an internal IT system to send vehicles to the next department as instructed
Key-up alloy wheels using shot-blasters
Remove small chips and scuffs using orbital sanders
Use a lathe proficiently as part of the wheel preparation process as a Mobile Alloy Wheel TechnicianRequirements:
NVQ Level 2 minimum, or relevant practical experience if you are seeking a trainee route
Experience as an alloy wheel technician is advantageous, with strong practical ability and willingness to train also acceptable
Full UK driving licence
