Production Manager
Location: Ellesmere Port
Salary: NEG DOE
Hours: Monday-Friday
We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead manufacturing operations within a fast-paced production environment. Reporting to the Production Director, you will be responsible for driving productivity, quality, safety, and continuous improvement while managing and developing production teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and develop production teams to achieve operational targets.
Ensure efficient production flow and on-time delivery.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean Manufacturing and 5S.
Maintain high standards of Health & Safety, quality, and housekeeping.
Monitor and improve KPI performance across production operations.
Work closely with logistics and supply chain teams to manage inventory and material flow.
Support audits and ensure compliance with quality standards.Requirements:
Minimum 5 years' experience in a Production Manager or similar leadership role.
Manufacturing experience essential; automotive experience advantageous.
Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, ERP/MRP systems, and KPI management.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
