Mechanical Inspector - Aerospace Precision Engineering
Location: Southampton
Salary: Up to £18.00 per hour

An established precision engineering company serving the aerospace and defence sectors is seeking a skilled Mechanical Inspector to join its growing team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out FAIR, first-off, last-off and batch inspections on complex precision-engineered components. You will be confident reading engineering drawings, interpreting GD&T, and conducting inspections using first-principle measurement techniques.

Mechanical Inspector -Key Requirements:

Proven experience in mechanical inspection
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Strong understanding of GD&T
Experience with FAIR and production inspections
CMM experience advantageous but not essential
Aerospace manufacturing experience desirableMechanical Inspector -Benefits:
