7:15am – 9:00am

£15.00 per hour

TeacherActive is currently recruiting enthusiastic and reliable Breakfast Club Playworkers to support primary schools across the Epsom (KT17) area.

This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who enjoy working with children and are looking for rewarding morning work within a school setting. The successful candidates will be responsible for providing a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment for pupils before the start of the school day.

The role requires someone who is punctual, proactive, and confident working with primary-aged children, ensuring they have a positive start to their day.

The successful candidate will have:

Experience working with children in a school, childcare, or club setting
A valid Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (essential)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A positive, energetic, and caring approach
The ability to supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities
A strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures
Desirable:

Paediatric First Aid (PFA) qualification
Previous experience working within a Breakfast Club or childcare setting
Duties will include:

Supervising children before the school day begins
Supporting with breakfast service where required
Organising and leading engaging activities
Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all pupils
Encouraging positive behaviour and social interaction
Following all school safeguarding and health & safety policies
