Sales Administrator

Widnes | £27,500 DOE | 4-Day Working Week

Are you a highly organised administrator with strong communication skills and a keen eye for detail?

Our client is a well-established and respected manufacturing business based in Widnes, supplying high-quality engineered solutions to customers across a range of industries. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a Sales Administrator to join their friendly and supportive team.

The Role

As a Sales Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting customers from initial enquiry through to order completion. You will be responsible for analysing customer requirements, preparing accurate quotations, processing orders and liaising with internal departments to ensure projects are delivered efficiently.

The position involves regular communication with customers and internal stakeholders, making it ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships and providing excellent service.

Key Responsibilities

Analyse customer enquiries and requirements in detail.

*

Identify suitable material sources, calculate costs and determine production lead times.

*

Liaise closely with production teams to ensure accurate planning and delivery.

*

Prepare detailed and professional quotations.

*

Process customer orders and generate manufacturing plans.

*

Manage orders throughout the production process.

*

Resolve customer queries and issues promptly and professionally.

*

Maintain accurate records and documentation.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

*

Strong organisational and administrative skills.

*

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

*

Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications.

*

The ability to work accurately and manage multiple priorities.

*

A proactive and customer-focused approach.

What's on Offer?

*

Salary circa £27,500 depending on experience.

*

4-day working week (Monday to Thursday, 7:00am – 5:00pm).

*

20 days annual leave plus an additional day for every completed year of service, up to a maximum of 24 days plus bank holidays.

*

Company pension scheme (5% employer contribution / 4% employee contribution).

*

Free on-site parking.

*
