Our client has a full-time permanent position available for a Production Team Leader at their site base in Crayford Kent
This role is available to start immediate subject to interview
Responsibilities
* ensure people and resources are applied in an efficient and effective manner to meet delivery requirements while achieving quality and safety standards
* Ensure that team members follow defined manufacturing procedures and comply with quality requirements
* Ensure equipment is within calibration date and all systems are functioning correctly
* Ensure that non-conforming material is clearly identified and segregated
* Ensure that quality concerns are reported to the appropriate personal and that proper process controls are followed in the event of a quality issue raised.
* Ensure the team are aware of day-to-day targets and responsibilities
* Manage work order closures (scanning where applicable)
* Manage picking to your area – ensure prior day line loading is adhered to by the pickers/stores.
Requirements
* Support, comply and ensure complicity with Health & Safety regulations
* Is self-aware, resilient, assertive, and open to change
* Work independently, reviewed infrequently with minimal supervision
* Ability to lead by example
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Excellent organisation skills
* At least 3 years’ experience in leading a production team.
* Knowledge of Health & Safety legislation
* Knowledge of environmental ISO14001
Knowledge of Quality standard ISO9001
