Technical Buyer
Job Description:

Source and procure technical materials, engineered components, and subcontract services to support production requirements.
Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, leading negotiations on pricing, lead times, and contract terms.
Interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications to ensure purchased parts meet quality and compliance standards.
Manage the full purchasing process from RFQ through to delivery, expediting urgent orders where required.
Monitor market trends, manage supplier performance, and identify opportunities for cost savings and improved competitiveness.
Maintain accurate purchasing and inventory records using ERP/MRP systems and resolve invoice queries promptly.Technical Buyer
Essential:

Previous experience within a Technical Buyer, Buyer, or Procurement role in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
Understanding of engineering drawings and technical specifications (mechanical, electrical, and/or hydraulic).
Experience using ERP/MRP systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word
