Location: Office Location: Stretford, Manchester, M17 1ED
Working Pattern: Hybrid - 3 days in the office, 2 days from home
Contract Length: 3-6 months
Start Date: ASAP
Rate: £130 - £150 per day

Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to join our team on an interim basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented payroll professional who can quickly integrate into an established function and deliver accurate, end-to-end payroll processing.

Key Responsibilities

End-to-end processing of payroll across UK (and ideally Ireland)
Ensuring all payroll activities are completed accurately and on time
Performing payroll reconciliations and validation checks independently
Managing payroll-related queries and resolving discrepancies
Supporting compliance with all relevant payroll legislation and regulations
Liaising with internal stakeholders and external providers where required

Skills & Experience Required

Proven experience in end-to-end payroll processing
Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation (Ireland knowledge desirable)
Ability to carry out payroll checking autonomously with a high degree of accuracy
Experience working with or alongside a Managed Service Provider (desirable, not essential)
Quick to learn new payroll systems and processes
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
