They are now seeking an experienced Workshop Supervisor to lead their mechanical assembly and fitting operation in Burntwood. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader to take ownership of workshop performance, quality standards and team development.

What You'll Be Doing

Leading and supervising a workshop team of 5 staff
Coordinating daily workflow to maximise efficiency and productivity
Liaising with the sales team to ensure smooth order processing
Managing aftersales and ensuring returns are handled efficiently
Maintaining quality standards and ensuring adherence to procedures, including documentation of issues
Ensuring workshop equipment is inspected and maintained in line with schedules
Overseeing health & safety compliance and promoting safe working practices
Coaching, developing and supporting workshop staff
Driving continuous improvement across processes and performance
What We're Looking For

Essential

Previous experience in a supervisory role within a mechanical fitting or workshop environment
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
High attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
Desirable

Counterbalance or pivot steer FLT licence
NEBOSH qualification (or working towards)
