Radio Remote Controls Technician

The Company

Our client is a specialist in the supply, integration and support of industrial radio remote control systems, working across a range of demanding sectors. They supply and integrate products from leading manufacturers including Hetronic, and pride themselves on delivering high-quality, technically robust solutions to their customers.

The Role

This is a developing role suited to someone with a solid foundation in industrial radio remote control systems who is looking to grow into a more senior position over time. Our client is happy to invest in extensive product training for the right person.

In time, you will take ownership of the full project workflow — from quotation support and system design through to build, testing and commissioning — while also supporting workshop operations and providing technical guidance to colleagues.

Requirements

* Some hands-on experience with industrial radio remote control systems

* A solid understanding of how radio remote control systems work and the protocols involved

* Ability to fault find and diagnose issues on radio remote control systems

* Comfortable reading and working from wiring diagrams and schematics

* A good understanding of electrical systems and safety standards

* Keen to learn and develop — a willingness to undergo full product training is essential

* Organised and reliable with good attention to detail

Desirable

* Experience with Hetronic or similar radio remote control products

* Background in system build, testing or commissioning

* Exposure to PLC or HMI systems

* Experience providing technical support or working in a workshop environment

* Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and electrical safety compliance
